Objective

Create a Back-to-School themed incentive program to drive downloads and usage of the RetailMeNot app.



Solution

We invited consumers to "Score a Savings 100" for a chance to instantly win a $10, $25 or $50 Amazon.com Gift Card (digitally fulfilled via email) — and be entered into the weekly sweepstakes drawing for one of five $5,000 grand prizes.

The school themed instant win game featured three chalkboards consumers "erased" to see if they matched all three. To achieve the program objective and drive awareness, participants could earn bonus entries by downloading the app, sharing the program on Facebook and Twitter, and inviting friends via email.

A partnership with TUNE provided enhanced in-app analytics to track consumer behavior around each download, providing the brand with additional target-consumer insight.
